WHO'S ON
STAGE

The house bands and resident acts you'll actually see at these venues — what they play, where they play it, and how long they've been at it.

Roppongi Kento's & Ginza Kento's — The Oldies Family

The Flames

Resident band — Roppongi Kento's

The regular house band at the original Kento's location, playing 1950s–60s rock 'n' roll, doo-wop, and pop — Beatles, Elvis, and the American oldies songbook that built the Kento's brand. Lineups rotate guest vocalists across several short sets a night.

HUMPTY DUMPTY

Regular act — Ginza Kento's

One of the longest-running acts in the Kento's family, marking a 36th anniversary event in 2025 — putting the band's roots around 1989. Specializes in the American pop and rock 'n' roll of Paul Anka, Neil Sedaka, and Connie Francis, and also runs dedicated ABBA-tribute nights.

BLESS of G.K.

House rock band — Ginza Kento's

Ginza Kento's classic-rock resident act, built around Deep Purple, Aerosmith, Queen, Bon Jovi, and Oasis. Runs themed programming like "Old Rock Show" and dedicated Queen-tribute sets, and occasionally crosses over to sister venue Yokohama Kento's for special nights.

Grid Crews

J-POP band — Ginza & Yokohama Kento's

A dedicated J-POP covers band drawing on decades of beloved Japanese pop hits, active across both the Ginza and Yokohama Kento's stages — a genre choice that sets it apart from the American-oldies focus most of the Kento's family leans on.

Navy Blue

Newly formed — Yokohama & Ginza Kento's

A newly formed act, launched in 2025 out of Yokohama Kento's and now also appearing at the Ginza stage. Built around a rotating group of young vocalists performing contemporary R&B and dance-pop — a noticeably newer, younger addition to the Kento's roster than its 30-plus-year veteran labelmates.

Roppongi Bauhaus

The Bauhaus Band

House band — Bauhaus

The rotating house band behind Bauhaus's five nightly sets, drawing from a repertoire of 1970s–2000s rock and metal staples — Deep Purple, Led Zeppelin, AC/DC, Queen, Guns N' Roses. Lineups have included Brazilian, Filipino, Peruvian, and Japanese musicians over the venue's history, and guest jams are part of the culture: past visitors sitting in have reportedly included MR. BIG's Eric Martin, and — according to accounts from musicians who've played there — members of Metallica joining a late-night session.

Independent Circuit

Turbines Drive

Independent act — Tokyo live house circuit

A Tokyo-based melodic heavy metal band formed in 2002, active on the city's independent live house circuit rather than tied to one resident venue. Public biographical detail is limited compared to the house bands above — worth treating this profile as a starting point rather than a complete picture, and we'll expand it as we can confirm more.
